1. Refund Policy (NAW)

At North American Watercolor (NAW), we strive to provide valuable opportunities, resources, and experiences for our members and participants.

Memberships:

• Membership fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed, as members immediately receive access to digital benefits, resources, and magazine content.

• In rare cases of duplicate payments or technical errors, please contact us within 10 business days of the transaction for review.

Exhibition Entries:

• Entry fees for exhibitions are non-refundable, regardless of acceptance status. Entry fees cover administrative and jurying costs at the time of submission.

Workshops, Events, or Merchandise:

• Refunds may be available for select events or items as outlined at the time of purchase.

• Cancellations or special refund requests may requested by contacting us    and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Welcome to North American Watercolor (NAW). By accessing or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Use of Content
All materials on this site — including text, images, logos, and designs — are the property of NAW or its content creators and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without written permission.

2. Membership & Payments
By purchasing a membership, entry, or subscription, you agree to the associated fees and policies. Memberships automatically expire on the next renewal date (June 30 each year) unless renewed. 

3. Exhibition Submissions
Artwork submitted to NAW exhibitions must be original and comply with the posted entry rules. NAW reserves the right to disqualify work that violates these terms.

4. Limitation of Liability
NAW is not responsible for damages, loss, or liability arising from use of the site, participation in exhibitions, or member interactions.

5. Updates
NAW reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

6.     International Membership and Payment Restrictions
North American Watercolor (NAW) welcomes members worldwide. However, due to U.S. and international financial regulations, NAW is unable to accept payments or process memberships from certain restricted countries or regions.  Transactions originating from these locations may be declined or refunded automatically in accordance with applicable laws and payment processor requirements.

7. North American Watercolor (NAW) operates as a Florida-based, for-profit organization. Memberships, exhibition entries, and digital magazine subscriptions are provided as intangible services and digital benefits, delivered entirely online. Because no physical goods are included in the purchase of these services, these transactions are not subject to Florida sales tax under current state regulations. If NAW offers optional physical items in the future, those may be subject to applicable sales tax, which will be clearly noted at the time of sale. NAW continually reviews its business practices to remain compliant with Florida law and reserves the right to update this policy if state tax regulations change.
